BREAKING NEWS: Gang in red Golf target Secunda houses

SECUNDA – The police is looking for a red Golf 7 GTi suspected to be involved in several burglaries and robberies in Secunda and Trichardt.
According to Capt Bettina Zondo, spokesman for Secunda Police, the latest incident happened in Bosbok Street, Secunda this afternoon when six men overpowered the domestic worker and forced her into the toilet at gunpoint.
They stole many items before driving off in the suspected red Golf.
The same vehicle was allegedly spotted in the vicinity of McCorkindale Street last Thursday afternoon, 17 October, during a burglary where several firearms were stolen.
Another domestic worker was overpowered and covered with blankets at a house in Holly Street, Ext 22 on Monday, 14 October. The house was ransacked and items worth about R60 000 were stolen.
According to unconfirmed information, the occupants in this vehicle were also allegedly involved in a recent hijacking in Kinross and armed robberies in Trichardt last month.
