The local Sars-offices at the intersection of Kerk Street and Princess Street were targeted on 14 October at 5am with a laptop and knife as evidence of the incident.
According to Mr Jannie Kasselman of Kasselman Security Services, no alarm was triggered.
One suspect, wearing a blue jacket and cream pants, gained entry through a back window and made his escape out of the back door.
The laptop was dropped inside the building and the knife left behind.
