Motorist slightly injured when car crashes into tree outside Krinross

KINROSS – A motorist sustained only slight injuries when his car crashed into a tree about 5km from Kinross today, 14 April.

The accident happened just before 1pm on the road between Kinross and Kriel, when the motorist allegedly lost control over his Ford Figo and veered off the road into trees.

The Govan Mbeki municipal rescue workers had to use the Jaws of Life to free the man from the wreck.

MavCorp ambulance services took him to hospital.
