Members of AfriForum Ermelo donated bottles of hand sanitizers and masks to the volunteers working at the Ermelo Sport Inn as well as members of Ermelo Police.

This was done to support the fight against the Covid-19 virus.

The Ermelo Sport Inn was identified to shelter the homeless people of Ermelo for the duration of the lockdown.

They received a place to sleep as well as three meals a day.

The Department of Health, Department of Social Services, Sassa, Msukaligwa Disaster Management, Ermelo Police and Ermelo CMR worked together on 26 March to ensure that the facility could house these people.
