Restaurants protest in Secunda

The South African Restaurants Association (RASA) is organising a million seats on the streets protest to create awareness of the hardships that restaurants are facing because of Covid-19 and the lockdown.

A few restaurants in the area, including Eish!!! Restaurant, will be taking part in this nationwide protest on Wednesday, 22 July at 12pm on the island in PDP Kruger Street, opposite Proconics, near Secunda Mall.

Waiters will stand on the middleman with posters and also take chairs and tables to the area to create awareness.

Mr Roelof Stander, co-owner of Eish!!!, said restaurants and the hotel industry are suffering and also because they are not allowed to sell alcohol.
