AfriForum’s Neighbourhood Watch increases visibility in Standerton

They enlisted the help of Nystiq/Farm Patrol to hold additional patrols, while KSS deployed additional vehicles, as well as foot patrols in the most affected areas.

AfriForum’s Standerton Neighbourhood Watch increased visibility in the Kosmospark and Florapark areas.

According to a press release issued on Thursday, 8 August, they realised that the number of burglaries had increased.

Burglaries reported to Kasselman Security Services (KSS) indicate that between four to six burglaries occurred weekly.

They enlisted the help of Nystiq/Farm Patrol to hold additional patrols, while KSS deployed additional vehicles, as well as foot patrols in the most affected areas.

According to the statement, the police also held more visibility patrols.

According to their data, the security planning was successful and no burglaries were reported in the last two weeks.

AfriForum thanked all the role-players for their cooperation.

“This cooperation and action are necessary to ensure the safety of residents,” Mr Gerhard Moll, chairman of the neighbourhood watch, said.
