Breyten Police need community’s help

Sgt Mashegoane said; “She has not been positively identified by family members.”

A 23-year-old woman was found dead between Breyten and Carolina on 7 September.

According to Sgt Thabo Mashegoane, spokesman for Breyten Police, the woman was found next to the railway line. It is suspected that she was strangled.

Medical personnel were summoned to the scene and she was declared dead. 

Sgt Mashegoane said: “She has not been positively identified by family members.”

Breyten Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the case and they will appear in Ermelo Magistrates Court for murder on 10 September.

Sgt Mashegoane pleads with community members to come forward if they have any information regarding the case.
