Three men from Carolina appeared in the Carolina Magistrate’s Court on 7 September in connection with kidnapping, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm and murder.
The trio was arrested on 4 September.
According to Brig Leonard Hlathi, provincial police spokesman, the suspects, aged between 30 and 32 years, forced two men into their vehicle on 14 August.
