SECUNDA – An armed robber was apprehended and his loot recovered shortly after he and an accomplice robbed Nando’s tonight, 22 September.
According to Mr Gunnie Prinsloo from StratconRisk, the gunmen entered the store at about 7.20pm and held up workers.
They demanded money and then fled on foot towards the Secunda CBD.
A reaction officer from StratconRisk noticed the running men and immediately took chase.
He caught the first robber near the ANC’s constituency offices, while Spar’s security nabbed the second suspect soon after.
The two were taken to the police station.
