SA Weather Service warns of possible storms over Govan Mbeki and Lekwa municipal areas
The Weather Service predicts that the storms will begin early in the afternoon and reach maximum intensity at about 5pm until 9pm.

The South African Weather Service issued a warning that severe thunderstorms are likely to hit the Govan Mbeki municipal area (Secunda and surrounding towns) and the Lekwa municipal area (Standerton) this afternoon, as well as other western parts of Mpumalanga and Gauteng.
The Weather Service predicts that the storms will begin early in the afternoon and reach maximum intensity at about 5pm until 9pm.
This might result in flooding of low level crossings and low lying areas, poor driving visibility and wind damage to informal settlements.
