Bikers donate with make a girl smile project to schools in Ermelo

According to Amanda Nhlapho, founder of MGS project will be visiting four schools and to donate a total of 180 sanitary hampers for girl learners.

Make a Girl Smile (MGS) project in cooperation with bikers will make donations to schools in Wesselton, Ermelo on 2 October.

Bikers also made donations to the Make a Girl Smile project on 6 September.

Amanda Nhlapho, founder of MGS project, and the bikers will be visiting four schools to donate a total of 180 sanitary hampers for girl learners.

Umsebe Primary School, Ithafa Secondary School, New Ermelo Primary School and Wesselton Primary School are the four schools that  will receive donations.

Ms Thembisile Maboea, principal of Ithafa Secondary School said: “The committee school-base support team gathered learners of the school who are prioritised from disadvantaged families.”

She added a total 41 donations will be given to grade 8 learners.

Ms Maboea explained, during the lockdown things have been tough for the learners who come from disadvantaged homes and the school gave food parcels to those learners.
