Three people die in head-on collision between Ermelo and Lothair

Three of the patients travelling in the polo were declared dead on the scene by medical personnel from ER24.

Three people died in an accident between Ermelo and Lothair earlier this evening, 3 October.

According to information received from ER24, two vehicles, a polo and bakkie, were involved in a head-on collision.

The accident is said to have happened about 30km outside Ermelo.

Three of the patients travelling in the polo were declared dead on the scene by medical personnel from ER24.

They also transported another patient to Ermelo Mediclinic for observation.

Lothair Police, ER24 and the Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services were on the scene.

The road has in the meantime been closed-off until the scene is cleared.
