Xhosa singer from eMbalenhle sings to honor women

His album will be out on 15 October

eMBALENHLE – Leloko Belebesi, known as L Keay, gained the hearts of many fans through his unique Xhosa music.

The 19-year-old Xhosa trapper has been inspiring people through his music which focuses on real life issues.

He recently recorded an album titled Inkaba Ka Mama which is a reflection of the hardship mothers go through to raise their children.

He said decided to record a special album which honours all the wonderful mothers.

“I am one of the blessed South Africans who were raised by hard working mothers, who did everything in their power to put food on table for their children, regardless of the challenges they faced. I’m strong and I see some light in my career today because my mother.

“This album is in honour of all wonderful mothers in the world.”

The album will be out on Thursday, 15 October.

L Keay’s music career began when he was 12 years old.

He use to record himself with a phone but now he has managed to do a proper recording with Red Eye Entertainment.

His album is produced by Sihle ‘Gasbeateats’ Mkhize and he is managed by House of Media.

L Keay is popularly known by his song titled ‘6 Ekseni’ which was recorded in 2016.

He is hoping to continue making educational music which will inspire hope to people.
