Rape case withdrawn against officer in MEC of Community Safety, Security and Liaison’s office

Mr Moeti Mmusi, spokesman for the MEC of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, gave no reason as to why the case was withdrawn.

The rape case against Mr Nkosinathi Zwane, Outreach and Parliamentary Officer in Mpumalanga, was withdrawn on 29 September.

He was accused of rape and was arrested on 24 September.

He first appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on 25 September, where he was remanded in custody.
