Support Secunda-church and CMA’s initiative to support needy families
Bikers and church will be at Spar on 31 October.

SECUNDA – Members of the Bikers Church in Secunda and the Christian Motorcycle Association (CMA) will be hosting a food fundraiser on Saturday, 31 October in Secunda.
The members will create awareness of this event on Saturday, 24 October when they will stand at traffic lights in Secunda and hand out flyers.
The food fundraiser will kick off at 8am on Saturday, 31 October at the Five Star SuperSpar in Nelson Mandela Drive.
Residents can drop off food or donations at the Bikers Church and CMA’s stall between 8am and 5pm and get a free coffee, or residents can support them at their stall in the parking area opposite AutoZone where they will sell food from 8am to 5pm.
Church members and members of CMA will also drive through the streets of Secunda with their bikes on that day and hoot. They urged residents to go out from their houses when they hear the bikers and give food or donations. The group will drive with bikes and five vehicles to pick up the food.
Ms Thea Mynhardt, secretary of the church and CMA, said since the lockdown begun, many people have lost their jobs and are suffering financially.
“We have been supporting 31 needy families in Secunda with food. We want to donate to them everything we collect on the food fundraiser day,” said Ms Mynhardt.
