Highveld residents protest and pray together

Protesters plant cross on N17.

SECUNDA – People got together on Sunday, 25 October in Secunda and took part in a nationwide protest, Black Monday, against farm murders.

The management team of 911 Secunda Accidents and other role players organised the event. The organisers in Secunda decided to hold it on Sunday as most people are working on Mondays.

They opened the event with a prayer and drove with cars, trucks and motorcycles on the N17 where they eventually planted a cross.

Several emergency services and other role players also took part in the event.

The organisers thanked everyone who were involved for their support and participation.
