Bikers help old age home in Standerton

Immortal Guardians Standerton held a fundraiser in aid of Kosmos Retirement Village at the intersection of Buiten Street and Burger Street on Saturday, 31 October.

According to their president, Mr Gideon Slabbert, sanitary products will be donated to the old age home on 28 November.

The club decided to use a Halloween-theme for this initiative and the entrance fee was a sanitary product.

Food and a cash bar were available.

At least 70 people arrived during the day for the party that went on, according to the invitation, past the witching hour.

“It is a pleasure to be involved in this project,” Mr Slabbert said.
