Woman’s leg partially severed in accident on Amersfoort Road

According to ER24, the patient sustained back injuries and partial amputation to the left lower leg.

A woman was badly injured in a single-vehicle accident about 25km outside Ermelo on the Amersfoort Road on 6 November.

The vehicle rolled numerous times.

The driver and occupants are from Durban and were on their way to a funeral.

According to Mr Christo Botha, parademic from EMS, four people were injured in the accident.

EMS, IGAGU and ER24 transported all occupants to Mediclinic Ermelo.

Three occupants sustained minor injuries.

ER24 transported the patient who sustained serious injuries.

According to ER24, the woman sustained back injuries and partial amputation to the left lower leg.

ER24, All City Towing, EMS, IGAGU and the Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services were on the scene.
