Melrow Pharmacy is now at the end of his wound care journey but they request help from the community as the pharmacy would like to buy him a prosthesis to fulfill his quality of life again.

Melrow Pharmacy began a fund raiser to help Mr Elias Mudau, on 31 October.

Mr Mudau was born on 14 April 1953.

He was a driver at Transnet for 38 years, after which he retired in 2016 to spend time with his family.

He has had diabetes mellitus and high blood pressure since 1996.

He also had a partial amputation of his foot due to an infection in one of his toes in 2019.

Since then Melrow Pharmacy has been following this wound-care journey with him.
