LEANDRA- Residents in Leandra, Evander, Trichardt, Secunda, and even as far as Bethal felt a tremour when a tanker that was apparently transporting a combustible product exploded on the road between Leandra and Delmas tonight, 12 November.
The incident happened at about 9.50pm.
According to the Secunda 911 group, the vehicle caught on fire about 15km outside Leandra.
It is still unclear what caused the explosion.
The extent of injuries and damages must still be determined.
