Evander’s TP Stratten welcomes new deputy principal

Mr Sauerman has dedicated 14-years to teaching and has never looked back.

EVANDER – TP Stratten welcomes Mr Nico Sauerman as the new deputy principal.

Mr Sauerman has taken over from Ms Telanie Flemming who stepped down as deputy principal in March of last year.

He is described as an outdoor person who enjoys nature, hunting and fishing.

He is married to occupational therapist, Ms Johanita Sauerman.

The couple has a 20-month-old son together.

After completing his degree in education management and law at the University of Pretoria, Mr Sauerman went to London for four years where he taught maths and PE.

He returned to South Africa and worked at Evander High School since 2012.

Mr Sauerman dedicated 14 years to teaching and has never looked back.

Mr Sauerman is described as a team player and hopes he will be able to inspire TP Stratten colleagues, learners, parents and the community with his positive attitude.

“My vision for the future is to stay a part of one of the best schools in the community,” said Mr Sauerman.
