NPSS hosts “Raisin Legends” fundraiser

“Therefore, we encourage each learner to please join hands together in this project and help us raise funds to make it an even better place for you,” Ms Botha said.

Netherland Park Secondary School (NPSS) is hosting a fundraiser known as “Raisin Legends”.

The goal is for learners to sell as many packets of raisins as possible and thereby turning a profit.

To turn a dream into a reality, however, they requested the help of Ermelo residents.

The money made from the fundraiser will be used to upgrade the school and better the environment for learners.

According to Ms Nanette Botha, educator at Netherland Park Secondary School, success can only be achieved when working together.

“We therefore encourage each learner to join hands to help us raise funds to make it an even better place for you,” Ms Botha said.

The prizes that are up for grabs, are as follow:

• A prize of R100 for the learner who sold a 100 packets within the first month.

• A prize of R3 000 for a lucky winner who sold the most packets overall by the end of June.

A R500-prize was gifted to Praisegod Manana, the learner who sold the most packets within the first month, from 25 March to 1 April.

A packet of 500g of raisins will be sold for R40.

Orders can be placed at any of the teachers of NPSS.

Ms Botha said learners will hand the order forms with the money to their register teacher every Friday to be processed and all orders will take up to four days to be processed and delivered.
