Ermelo Laerskool bid farewell to two of their educators Ms Ronél Brand and Ms Malinka Bryant, on 23 April.

According to Ms Claudia Lottering, head of department of Ermelo Laerskool, Ms Brand and Ms Bryant got engaged and are moving away.

Ms Brand was the Grade 3 educator since 2015 when she joined at Ermelo Laerskool.

“I leave you today with a sad, but grateful heart.

“Thank you Mr Ferreira for being the best principal.

“I enjoyed my time at Laerskool Ermelo dearly, and I wish the school all the best,” Ms Brand said.

Ms Bryant began at Ermelo Laerskool in 2008 and was the Grade 1 teacher.

According to Ms Lottering she also wrote their school anthem.

Ms Bryant said she has been so fortunate to spend 13 years teaching at Laerskool Ermelo.
