Principal of Laerskool Jeugkrag in Standerton completes Master’s degree

Ms Botma began studying on May 7 in 2018 with course work and submitted a dissertation on 8 January this year.

The principal of Laerskool Jeugkrag, Ms Theresa Botma, completed her Master’s degree cum laude in Educational Management and Law.

“It was done in a carousel, working in different modules,” Ms Botma said.

Altogether 12 courses of work modules and four dissertation modules were done.

Each module stretched over seven weeks, followed by a one week rest period before the next module began again.

Ms Botma began studying on May 7, 2018 with course work and submitted a dissertation on January 8 this year.

The final results were received on August 18.

“Everything was done online,” she also said.

The dates of the virtual graduation of the University of Johannesburg will still be communicated.

Laerskool Jeugkrag congratulated their principal, saying she faced challenges with strength, determination and confidence.

“Your sincere efforts deserve this success,” the school proudly said.
