An awards ceremony was held on November 11, at the Hindu Hall in Milan Park, and saw learners of MD Coovadia Combines School, being awarded certificates for their top achievements during the academic year.
This year’s Dux and top achiever went to Grade 9 learner, Riyad Hassan.
Grade 1, 2 and 3 top achievers for 2021 went to Ntandoyenkosi Shabangu, Makanaka Zindoga and Ashley Saunders.
Lokie Mahlakoane was the top achiever for Grade 4 and Bonang Mofokeng was the Grade 5 top achiever.
Christine Mbindo from Grade 6 was her grade’s top achiever.
