The senior learners of Marietjie School for Learners with Special Educational Needs, enjoyed their farewell at Graceland Hotel, Casino and Country Club on Wednesday, 1 December.
The principal and teachers try to organise a farewell for these learners every year similar to a matric farewell.
Each learner received a Smart watch as a farewell gift, enjoyed lunch at Graceland and had the chance to dress up a little bit.
Eastvaal Ford sponsored vehicles for the day to take the learners from the school to Graceland.
Ms Mariane Uckermann, principal, thanked all the sponsors who made this event possible, including the Graceland team and the Eastvaal Ford’s team, Ms Nadine Wienand and Messrs Raytun Willemse, Nico Smit and Michael Rossouw.
