Govan Mbeki Municipality issued a notice to inform consumers whose accounts are in arrears and are overdue, that the municipality will be aggressively implementing its approved Credit Control and Debt Collection Policy as of February 28.
GMM is advising all consumers who are in arrears for a period exceeding 30 days on their statements of accounts to make payment arrangements within 48 hours.
Consumers who are not receiving their statements of accounts are advised to update their addresses as well as consumers who have queries with their accounts.
