A slow-moving motor barricade is currently proceeding from the Petroport Filling Station on the N12 towards Emalahleni (Witbank).

Capt Carla Hartley, the media spokesperson for the Delmas Police, urges motorists to make use of alternative routes or to be patient as traffic is very slow-moving.

The motorists are apparently protesting against the ongoing murders of Mozambican taxi drivers on the N12.
This follows the brutal murder of a 39-year-old Mozambican taxi driver on Monday, March 21 on the N12 near

Delmas at the Petroport.

Passengers of the taxi were also robbed of cash and cellphones. The Delmas Police have since launched a manhunt for the suspects.
