Alberto Franco, DA-councillor for Ward 8, held a community meeting on Monday, June 27 where service delivery issues were discussed.
A total of 60 residents attended the meeting.
They tried to cover the whole spectrum of service delivery issues.
Load-shedding in sub-B, illegal dumping, potholes, street lights, parks, tree pruning, water and sewage problems, the crime rate, bridging of electricity meters and illegal connections, as well as Lekwa’s billing of municipal accounts got attention.
Deon Bekker was also present and explained the importance of voting, encouraging the community to register as voters.
