26 participants out of the blocks at parkrun in Standerton
Parth Jayram completed the 5km in a time of 32:48, followed by Jhewaan de Winnaar in 33;52 and Nitin Daya in 38:50.
A total of 26 participants took on the parkrun on Saturday, November 12. Athletes were spoilt for choice since the Maximed 10 km was also held.
Renette de Sousa now stands at 100 times for both volunteering as participating.

Andrew Ainsworth crossed the finish line in 39:42, while Danie Human clocked in at 44;47.
Hendrik Slinger ended the distance in 44;54, followed by Jyoti Daya in 44;59 and Sangeeta Daya in 45:13.
James Shaw’s time was 45:24 and those of Sam van Niekerk 45:47 and Theo Schönfeldt 47:56.
Charl van Wyk, Elmien Vermaak, Frans Vermaak, Jennifer Naidoo, Johannes Vosloo, Jean Robertson, Marjorie Uys, De Sousa, Ruwan Vermaak, Sylvy Moodly and Willy Smith saw to it that things went smoothly.
