Boot camp in eMbalenhle helps to get people in shape

This Bootcamp is different from other sessions because I brought different trainers from other wellness organisations to show us what they got.

eMBALENHLE – Young and old in eMbalenhle gathered at eMbalenhle Sasol Club for a boot camp that was organised by well-known wellness trainer, Sunyboy Mthimunye on Saturday morning, October 22.

Mthimunye aims to teach people about their bodies and also to give back to the community.

“In our country, we have an illness called obesity caused by bad eating habits. This kills many people due to heart disease, stroke and other illnesses.

“I also give nutrition guidance. I can also identify a problem in someone’s body and offer a solution, such as the correct type of exercise and diet required.

“This is how we can achieve 80 % nutrition, plus 20% exercise to reach 100 % wellness.

“This boot camp is different from other sessions because I brought different trainers from other wellness organisations to show us what they got,” said Mthimunye.

He said the programme is for everyone who works hard and who needs to be healthy. That is why he initiated the boot camp and exercise programme.

One of the attendees believes the programme will help him to stay healthy.

Mthimunye said anyone in any of the towns within the Govan Mbeki Municipality is welcome to join the programme.

“I promise that they will never leave exercising again,” he said.
