Lorraine de Vos Acrobatics students walk away with top spots at the Loschali Acrobatic Festival

Taking first place in the novice group at the Loschali Acrobatics Festival were Lorraine de Vos Acrobatic students. Lorraine de Vos Acrobatics (LdVA) students competed in the Loschali Acrobatic Festival in Middelburg from September 29 to October 2.

About nine dance schools from various regions competed, with students from Standerton, Bethal, Secunda, Middelburg, Witbank, Pietermaritzburg and Kimberly vying for top spots.

The LdVA students performed in solo, duets, trios, quartets, groups, characters and impros categories.

In the novice group, ages 10 and younger, LdVA students Katleyn du Preez, Iva Smit, Hailey Coetzee, Chanté Swarts, Lizelle Steyn, Makheti Kaboyamodimo, Lienke Buchholz, Marisa Mouton, Zandalee Olieslager and Llene van Jaarsveld claimed first place out of five groups in this event.

Trios Chante Swarts, Iva Smit and Katleyn du Preez also claimed first in this division.
