Many first-timers join Secunda parkrun in 400th event
Secunda Parkrun reached the milestone 400 parkruns on April 13.
Two hundred and seventy-nine parkrunners walked, jogged or ran the Secunda parkrun’s 400th event on April 13.
Jannie Botha and Celia Reyneke ran their 250th parkrun to join the club milestone.
Anne-Marie Smit completed her 50th parkrun. Leopold Middelberg (83) was the eldest parkrunner and completed his 109th parkrun.
Mmakgabo Masipa, Zelmarie van der Merwe and Busisiwe Kubheka were the first three women to finish.
The first three men to finish were Rex Jefferies, Barry Visagie and Thiemo Pösch.
