Help eMbalenhle-woman find her mom

Thandi Mlangeni’s brother died last year and she now wants, more than ever, to find her mother.

Thandi Mlangeni (23) from eMbalenhle is looking for her mother, Mittah Mlangeni whom she last saw when she was 10 years old.

According to Thandi, her mother left her and her brother with a great-aunt in 2007, who welcomed the children into her home as if they were her own. Sadly, the aunt died in 2013.

“The last time I saw my mother was in 2010, during a visit to her aunt’s house. We were told my mom went to Hillbrow.”

Thandi said despite their continuous efforts, she and her brother, Makhosonke Andries Mlangeni, have been unable to locate their mother.

The pain of her absence has weighed heavily on the children throughout the years. Makhosonke died on December 16 last year without knowing where his mother was.

“The void left by his absence has only intensified my desire to find her and seek closure, knowing that time is of the essence,” explained Thandi.

In addition to her missing mother, Thandi is also trying to locate Makhosonke’s father, Nkosana Mshiza.

“I only know his name from my brother’s clinic card. I have to notify him about Makhosonke’s death, ” said Thandi.

“These two people are needed now in the Mlangeni family, ” is Thandi’s heartfelt plea.

“I am determined to piece together our fractured family. I will find solace in knowing my mother’s whereabouts, even if it is just to bring closure to this chapter of our lives.”

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mittah Mlangeni or Nkosana Mshiza can contact Thandi Mlangeni on 071 190 1636.
