Blanket drive for Wet Nose with Martin Bester

Wet Nose held their yearly blanket drive at Kakiebos in Rayton and people from all over Bronkhorstspruit came to support Wet Nose.

Wet Nose hosted a blanket drive on May 18 at Kakiebos in Rayton along with Martin Bester and the band.

This event was held to raise blankets for the animals at the Wet Nose Animal Shelter. Wet Nose raised enough money for about 300 blankets valued at R50 a blanket.

The blanket drive is held annually so the animals at Wet Nose might have a warm winter.

Declan Rodocanachi from Wet Nose said, “The drive went better than expected and we would just like to thank everyone who came to support the blanket drive.”

Wet Nose is an NPO which has been in the Bronkhorstspruit area since June of 1999.

Wet Nose is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, abused and neglected animals, offering them a second chance at a loving home.

“They are also a safe haven for dogs, cats, horses and many more animals,” said Rodocanachi.
