Visionary Dance School students compete at DTMA

Visionary Dance School dancers received their DTMA National colours when competing at the DTMA national competition in September.

Twenty-six dancers from the Visionary Dance School competed in the Dance, Talent and Modeling Agency (DTMA) national competition held at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park in September.

All Visionary Dance School dancers received their DTMA South Africa national colours. Dancers competed in the hip-hop, amapiano and other dance categories.

The junior hip-hop group, Amahle Mkhwanzi, Shudufhadzo Mashau, Uyanda Tshabalala, Nkosenhle Mkhwanzi, Dimpho Mahloko, Katlego Motsoeneng and Siphokazi Mthiya are congratulated on their overall beginner trophy win of 87.3%.

Owami Nhlapo, a Laerskool Hoëveld learner attained the overall senior trophy for amapiano.

Refilwe Chomane, a TP Stratten learner, received the overall junior trophy for amapiano. Visionary Dance School’s group won the overall senior trophy with 87.3%.
