Cullinan cops nab suspect for drugs and ammunition
The suspect faced charges of illegal possession of drugs and ammunition and would have already appeared in the Cullinan Magistrate’s Court by the time of Streeknews' publishing.
In a swift and effective operation, members of the Pretoria-Cullinan SAPS Crime Prevention Unit successfully apprehended a man in possession of illegal drugs and ammunition on November 9.
This operation was based on solid intelligence and reported to the police through an anonymous tip-off. Upon arriving at the specified location, officers discovered the suspect surrounded by a variety of illicit drugs and also armed with illegal ammunition.
Sergeant Connie Moganedi, spokesperson for the Cullinan Police, said the community’s diligence in reporting suspicious activities played a crucial role in this operation, underscoring the importance of collaboration between the SAPS and residents.
