Cullinan police embarks on a domestic violence awareness campaign

During the campaign, the police officers sensitised members of the public about the negative effects of domestic violence in the community.

Cullinan SAPS joined hands with various stakeholders in a fight against domestic violence.

According to Sergeant Connie Moganedi, corporate communication officer for the Cullinan Police, all relevant stakeholders participated in the program.

“During the campaign, the police officers sensitised members of the public about the negative effects of domestic violence in the community, said Moganedi in a media statement released on November 22.

“The Police further educated the community about the forms of domestic violence and preventative measures and encouraged them to report any act of domestic violence occurring in the area,” Moganedi added.
