Alex Mwelase from Morgenzon gives children a better chance at life

He believes that education, talent and career guidance can change lives even though many children lack resources and mentorship.

Alex Mwelase was born and raised in Morgenzon and has found his purpose in helping underprivileged schools.

Mwelase is an event manager at Flexi Core Organisation, a non-profit aimed at preparing children for the future and battling unemployment.

“I am driven by a deep desire to create opportunities for young people and uplift communities,” said Mwelase.

He believes that education, talent and career guidance can change lives even though many children lack resources and mentorship.

He strives to bridge the gap through events such as debates, career exhibitions and other talent development programmes.

“I have a passion for career development and nurturing talent. I aim to equip youth with knowledge and opportunities,” added Mwelase.

Mwelase leads by example, showing children leadership is about vision, sacrifice and dedication. He believes that though children cannot help the circumstances they were born in, all learners have the right to equal opportunities.
