“Panga man” of Secunda is out on bail

The court postponed the case to May 26.

The alleged panga man of Secunda, Tshediso Tsosane, arrested on March 27 for common robbery and several other cases, was released on R1 000 bail.

He appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court again on April 23 for his bail application and will reappear on May 26.

Tsosane is allegedly one of a duo who had roamed the green strips in the past few months, attacking school children and other pedestrians, threatening them with a panga and a knife and stealing their cellphones and cash.

He is possibly linked to 14 cases, comprising two house robbery cases, eight cases of common robbery and four cases of robbery with a weapon other than a firearm.
