New mall in Lekwa to be completed in 2026

Mayor Sifiso Mngemezulu and MMC for Planning and Economic Development, Sesana Masondo, visited the site on April 17 to monitor the progress.

“This project represents real progress for our community. It will bring much-needed retail options to residents and generate job opportunities during and after construction,” said Mngemezulu.
He emphasised the importance of oversights and transparency in new developments.
Mngemezulu believes this project will uplift the community and improve the local economy.
