Eduan brings passion to the Sables

Eduan de Klerk is a newcomer to the Standerton Sables rugby team and a welcome addition. On the field, he plays centre and wing and has played four games so far.

“I bring passion, enthusiasm and a bit of intensity to everything we do on and off the field,” said De Klerk.

His ultimate goal for the Sables this year is to win the Mayor League. When he is not on the field, he spends his time studying to become a teacher at Standerton Primary School.

De Klerk is a born and raised Standertonner who loves the close-knit community the town provides. He enjoys playing cricket, spending time with his friends and playing video games.
