Snenhlanhla Bhekithemba Ntuli, suspected of murdering Prince Nkosinathi Mlangeni, appeared in court on June 2.
According to Sergeant Themba Mnisi, the communications officer for the Sakhile SAPS, Ntuli allegedly stabbed Mlangeni on the right side of the neck with an Okapi knife on May 28 in a tuck shop near the Rooikoppen Taxi Rank.
Mlangeni initially survived the attack but collapsed and died on his way home. Mnisi said Ntuli fled the scene on foot, and the SAPS later arrested him at his residence.
He added that the two men had known each other well and had reportedly argued before the stabbing, which resulted in Mlangeni’s death.
