Tails wag at puppy yoga class in aid of fundraising for LPBH

A puppy yoga class was held at LP Fit Studio on May 31 in partnership with Little Paws Big Hearts (LPBH) to raise funds.

Fifteen enthusiastic and compassionate women attended the class and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The attendees vowed to attend more of these classes in the future.

“This initiative aims to raise awareness for animals in need of families and homes, to generate much-needed funds for the work the organisation does, and to foster a sense of community in Secunda,” said Sons Kempen of LPBH.

Kempen noted that this event is one of many firsts for the organisation.

“We were the first local animal organisation to attend wine festivals to raise money; the first to host a Paws in the Park event; the first to issue rescue packs for dogs; and now the first to offer yoga classes with companion animals,” said Kempen.

LP Fit Studio and LPBH will continue their successful partnership and plan to offer more events like this in the future.

The next event will be a yoga class with kittens—and it promises to be just as fun.
