Learners of Amazing Grace Academy in Standerton raise money for end of term fun day
In addition to being great fun, the jumping castle also helped the children improve their motor skills and exposed them to new experiences.
The learners of Amazing Grace Academy marked the end of their second term on June 26 with a massive jumping castle party.
School principal Shirley Kotze said the children had raised the money for the colossal jumping castle themselves over the course of more than three months.
AMA welcomed its own learners as well as visitors from other schools, with the fun kicking off around 09:00.
“Seeing the giant jumping castle overwhelmed the children — they were excited and couldn’t wait to start playing,” said Kotze.
She explained that the castle gave them the perfect way to end their second term with a bang.

“The excitement for this day had been building since the start of the term, and the learners were finally able to enjoy it after all their hard work,” she said.
In addition to being great fun, the jumping castle also helped the children improve their motor skills and exposed them to new experiences.
By the time the event ended at 14:00, the learners left for their holiday with joyful hearts and precious memories. According to Kotze, the day was a great success.
“I feel blessed to have God’s little ones in our care every day, and blessed to be able to give them special fun days like this,” she concluded.
