Five parkrunners set new personal best times in Standerton

Pieter Jansen van Vuuren was the first to finish, setting a new PB of 20:47.

The Standerton Riverpark parkrun celebrated its 318th event on October 4, during which five runners achieved new personal bests (PBs).

Pieter Jansen van Vuuren was the first to finish, setting a new PB of 20:47. Eugene Viljoen was the second finisher in 24:14.

Parth Jayram finished the run in 24:45, followed by Petra van der Linde (25:23), Zander van der Linde (25:24), and Ruan Potgieter (26:08).

Van der Linde and Potgieter both recorded new PBs. Xerchius van der Merwe achieved a new PB of 44:20, and Rozanne van Deventer of 45:22.

The volunteers who made this event possible were Renette de Sousa, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Sean Jansen van Rensburg, Susan Laufs, Jennifer Naidoo, Strini Naidoo, Marion Jean Robbertson, Lydia Roets, Nienke Swart and Johannes Vosloo.
