Parkrun in Standerton delivers 18 personal bests

The volunteers who made this event possible were Danie Laufs, Daniel Wright, Jennifer Naidoo, Leandri van Wyk, Lizette Jansen van Rensburg, Nienke Swart, Renette de Sousa, Séan Jansen van Rensburg, Susan Laufs, Willy Smith, and Zeldine Strydom.

The Standerton Riverpark parkrun celebrated its 322nd event on November 1, during which 70 runners completed the 5km track.
Eighteen runners beat their personal best times.

Pieter Jansen van Vuuren beat his PB when he completed the run in 19:54, and Marjolé Uys’ new PB was 25:49. Simon Ntuli ran a new PB of 26:46. Sibusiso Nkambule also gained a new personal best time of 30:34.

The other runners who ran or walked new PBs were Sibongile Mphuthi (32:10), Tshego Monnye (32:17), Johan Oosthuizen (32:52), Melissa Uys (32:58), Jeremia Mngomezulu (37:43), Judith Magdalena Kruger (43:19), Kitso Sephiri (45:59), Busi Maseko (46:03), Elgina Lotter (47:02), Lerato Monareng (47:04).

Semone Liebenberg beat her personal best for the second time this month, completing the run in 48:21.
