Bethal CPF warns residents about burglaries and theft

These stats are dated from August 1 to 7 with residential areas Simon Street and Armir Street being targeted.

Bethal Community Policing Forum (CPF) warned residents to be more vigilant and to report suspicious behaviour or activity to the CPF or local police.

This came after two burglaries at residential premises, two burglaries at business premises and the theft of a vehicle were reported in a matter of a week.

These stats are dated from August 1 to 7 with residential areas Simon Street and Armir Street being targeted.

Ongezien Farm and Du Plooy Street were the targets of business burglaries.

The vehicle was stolen at Eerste Geluk Farm.

The CPF urged residents to get involved with the CPF, to help combat crime and to assist in safeguarding their community.
