9-year-old allegedly rapes girl (6) in eMbalenhle
The police have opened a rape case and it will be referred to the FCS unit for investigation.
A 6-year-old girl was raped in Azania informal settlement at eMbalenhle, on Saturday, August 20.
According to Const Busi Mthethwa, the child’s mother noticed a white substance flowing from the child when she was bathing her.
The mother rushed the girl to the clinic.
After she was examined by the nurse, it was confirmed that she had been raped. She was referred to Evander Hospital.
The little girl told her mother that she was raped four times by a 9-year-old boy who gave her R10.
Mthethwa said police have opened a rape case and it will be referred to the FCS unit for investigation.
Mthethwa said no arrests have yet been made.
