Robbers target two businesses in eMbalenhle
Mthethwa said the shop owner managed to scream for help, and the community managed to catch one of the suspects.

Robbers hit a construction site in eMbalenhle on Saturday, August 20.
According to Const Busi Mthethwa, eMbalenhle Police spokesperson, five armed suspects armed jumped inside the construction site yard in Extension 24 and forced security guards at gunpoint to open the tools container.
The robbers took tools worth R50 000 as well as the guards’ cellphones.
Mthethwa said a business robbery case was opened and no arrest was made.
Mthethwa said the police are also investigating another business robbery in which a man was injured at Ext 21 on Thursday, August 25.
A shop owner was opening up his shop when one of three suspects pointed a gun at him.
Mthethwa said the criminals forced the owner inside and ordered him to lie down on the floor.
The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and R7000 worth of airtime before they fled the scene.
Mthethwa said the shop owner screamed for help, and the community caught one of the suspects.
She said the injured suspect was handed over to the police. The other two are still at large.
The police opened a business robbery case.
